Information Session: Autumn 2024 4 Day Week Pilot​

​

The 4 Day Week Campaign and flexible working consultancy Timewise have partnered to launch a second four-day week pilot in the UK this Autumn, with research support from University of Cambridge, Boston College and the Autonomy Institute.

The six-month pilot is scheduled to begin on November 4 with trainings and workshops starting in mid-September.

Liberal Democrat Party Conference fringe event

  • Monday 16th September, 1:15pm - 2:15pm

We will be hosting a conference fringe event on The Case for the Four Day Week at this year's Liberal Democrat Party Conference. Join us for a panel discussion which will explore the benefits of the four-day week, providing first-hand insight to how the four-day week is working in the public and private sector, the wider impact of the four-day week and the latest research around it.

 

Speakers include: Cllr Bridget Smith (South Cambridgeshire District Council), Gary Conroy (5 Squirrels), Dr Will Stronge (The Autonomy Institute) & Aliyah Davies (4 Day Week Campaign)

Labour Party Conference fringe event

  • Monday 23rd September, 4pm - 5pm

  • ACC Liverpool, Arena Room 5 (please note you will need a conference pass to access this venue)

 

We will be hosting a fringe event on The Case for the Four Day Week at this year's Labour Party Conference. Join us for a panel discussion which will bring together Parliamentarians and Trade Unionists as well as four-day week researchers and campaigners. Our panellists will discuss the growing trade union movement for a four-day week, the latest research and wider societal implications, and the crucial role Parliament can play to ensure a fair UK-wide transition to a four-day week with no loss of pay.

 

Speakers include: Peter Dowd MP, Fran Heathcote (PCS), Dr Will Stronge (The Autonomy Institute) & Joe Ryle (4 Day Week Campaign)

 

 

 

Cambridge Employers 4 Day Week Event
